Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform troubleshooting, corrective and preventive maintenance on process equipment.
Assisting with process improvement projects
Under minimal supervision, troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical equipment.
Establish safe plan of action for troubleshooting and repairs, thanks to acquired knowledge and skills and using all available documents such as electrical and mechanical drawings
Test and adjust equipment for proper functions before releasing to production
Perform preventive maintenance tasks as outlined in Work order instructions
Document repairs and preventive maintenance activities
Document usage of spare parts and trigger replenishment of stock
In coordination with process engineers, proceed with small alteration of mechanical and electrical system to enhance safety or efficiency of equipment.
In coordination with engineering department, assist with new equipment installation.
Monitor equipment proper function via routine inspection and daily observation
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to speak, write, and understand English
Five or more years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of National Electric Code
Two years of course work in electronic/electrical technology resulting in a certification or degree
Ability to read electrical drawings
Ability to read simple mechanical drawings and be familiar with measurement systems
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Ability to climb ladders and work in elevated spaces.
Salary Range: $30-$36 hr
Schedule: Sunday- Thursday 2 pm-10 pm
